You might be experiencing a difficult time, seeking to understand the struggles you experience in life, the root cause of addiction, anxiety, depression and trauma; you might want to change particular behaviours or improve your communication – in any case, it’s about exploring yourself and how you relate to others.

I offer a broad range of services to meet the different needs of my clients. Specialising in individual and couples-counselling. In person, as well as online and on the phone. In English, Spanish and German. Offering workshops too.

Our Services

Individual Counselling

Counselling offers numerous benefits: you find yourself in a safe space to express your thoughts and emotions and improve your mental and emotional health by gaining insights into your behavioural patterns, your way of communication and much more: how to manage stress and anxiety, address trauma, depression, struggles and worries. Step by step you learn to work through challenges creating lasting change. My approach is ‘person centered’ which means that I see you as the expert of your own life, while supporting the counselling process of self-exploration with different modalities, which might include breathwork and movement.

Couple-Therapy

Couple counselling allows us to focus on improving and resolving issues within relationships. In creating a safe space you can explore and address conflicts, communication difficulties and any challenges you might be facing. Our goal is to foster understanding (whether you intend to stay together or separate), enhance your communication skills, and strengthen the emotional bond between partners. This process can help you – as a couple – navigate a wide range of issues, ultimately working towards a healthier, more fulfilling connection and relationship.

Healing Trauma through Touch

Massage in the form of gentle touch can play a significant role in releasing trauma from the nervous system and therefore be a helpful component of a broader approach to emotional healing after trauma. Gentle touch stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body’s ‘rest and digest’ response promoting deep relaxation by releasing physical tension and the emotional energy held in the body: a deep emotional release supporting the healing process. In a secure and comfortable space you will also gain self-awareness by exploring body sensations related to suppressed memories.

Toby – our therapy dog

As an animal-assisted therapist, I offer the option of having my dog Toby present during counselling sessions. Born on March 20, 2019, Toby loves attention and always responds well to tender, affectionate touch. His gentle nature helps create a safe, supportive space, which can be very therapeutic: you may explore boundaries, choose not to interact with him, or connect in a playful way. With Toby by your side, you will gain a sense of groundedness, and be surprised by unexpected moments of joy and connection.
